I am honored that Mr. Tarkenton would comment on my humble Tailgating website. Thank you for stopping by. Ponder had a tough game last week, but I am 100% that is was his hip injury that held him up in that game. He just didn't seem to have the normal zip on his passes. I can't wait to see if the Vikings will pick the next Ron Yary in next year's draft. It'd be fun to hear what your thoughts are what position they should draft to improve the team. I humbly disagree that fans are nuts. Passionate? yes, and willing to do things like move their families to cities where professional sports are a prominent part of the culture. Big business, and investing in it is good for a community that prides itself as diverse in thought and brags that it is educated to ways of the business world. As a loyal resident of this fine state since 1983, and father of 2 kids, I would NOT like to see an absence of professional sports from a state rich in arts, theater, and several other venues that provide opportunity for a full menu of cultural activities of social choice and lifestyles.
