Welcome to the Week 16 edition of the Vikings Postgame Report. The Vikings lose a tough one to the Lions 30-24 on Christmas Eve at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Lions running backs did the most damage, accumulating 177 total yards of offense and three touchdowns. The Vikings had opportunities, but the turnovers proved to be too much to overcome. Quarterback Nick Mullens threw 22-of-36 passing for 411 yards, two touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. Both K.J. Osborn and Justin Jefferson caught the two touchdown passes, with Jefferson led the receivers with 6 receptions for 141 yards and a score. Defensively, Patrick Jones II tallied the lone sack for the Vikings and Josh Metellus led the team with 10 tackles. The Vikings shift their sights to the Packers on New Years Eve for the final home game of the regular season.
