Vikings Postgame Report: Vikings Host The Titans In Preseason Game #2, Fall 24 – 16 At U.S. Bank Stadium | TN | 2023 Preseason Week 2

Welcome to the 2023 preseason kickoff of the Vikings Postgame Report from U.S. Bank Stadium. The Minnesota Vikings kicked off their home preseason season on Saturday night at U.S. Bank Stadium. Both Quarterbacks Nick Mullens and Jaren Hall each played a Half with Mullens starting off the festivities. Mullens finished the First Half going 13-of-23 passing for 151 yards while also taking 2 sacks.  Hall finished his evening 4-of-7 passing for 49 yards, had a couple rushes and also took a sack.  The Vikings Offense in the First Half mustered 3 field goals in the 2nd-Quarter, as Greg Joseph hit from 45 yards, 33-yards, and 26-yards respectively.   Running back Ty Chandler finished the game with 11 carries for 24 yards and fellow backfield mate DeWayne McBride punched in the lone Vikings touchdown at the goal line after an 83-yard drive.  Defensively, Safety Lewis Cine had a high-profile night, amassing 7 total tackles, a sack, and a QB hit. Linebacker Troy Dye also had a solid night, including an interception of Tennessee Quarterback Malik Willis in the Second Quarter. In the end, the Titans ended the game in the victory formation and ran out the clock to send the Vikings to 0-2 in the 2023 preseason.  Vikings Vox Paul Allen and Color Analyst Pete Bercich breakdown the action of Preseason Game #2, including: some of the individual position group with some areas of concern, the increased playing time of Joejuan Williams and Andrew Booth Jr. tonight, the lack of play from Titans Quarterback Will Levis, and the upcoming joint practices with the Arizona Cardinals to close out 2023 Vikings Training Camp.  Plus, Head Coach Kevin O’Connell spoke to the media at the postgame press conference. All of this and more is in the Preseason Week 2 edition of the 2023 Vikings Postgame Report.
